Alfie's Tenners
May 1940, as German panzers and kampfers invade France, one British officer, Second Lieutenant Alphonse March, finds himself separated from the B.E.F. and must lead his walker troop through the countless hordes of the Hun back to the safety of his own peers. But this war, with its walking vehicles, death rays and rocket troops, is quite different from the morass of the trenches a generation ago.
Alfie's Tenners is set in the Gear Krieg alternate universe and can be read in the bi-monthly webzine Aurora.

Although he could have been a great football player in his own right, he never had any motivation. Sees walkers as a way to riot on a grander scale. |

A cobbler by trade, as he likes to remind people when they try to make him the banker during bouts of gambling. Godfrey Nationality British Year of birth 1910 Rank Trooper Fagin's driver. While he has trouble understanding half of what Fagin grumbles on about, he is efficient at his job. Keeps his spirits up knowing that his family won't hope in him. |

Harker Nationality British Year of birth 1912 Rank Trooper Daly's driver is an anomaly from a family of anomalies. Despite coming from an ancient aristocratic family, Harker is more comfortable following orders than giving them. It should be noted that every Harker has a natural talent for sports, and that this one excels in team sports. |

Irvings Nationality British Year of birth 1911 Rank Trooper The commander of the troop's fourth Cavalier grew up in a family of game wardens. It is of no surprise then that he is the troop's best shot. To suit his needs, Irvings has replaced his walker's main machine gun with the much-maligned Boys anti-tank rifle. Much like his sullen personality, this weapon forgoes a high rate of fire for better penetration. |
