This page is meant to be a general field guide of the non-historical vehicles found in the Gear Krieg universe, specifically from the Second World War. To the uninitiated, technology in Gear Krieg advanced a little faster than in our timeline, allowing elements of science fiction to become fact long before they do for us. The best example is the Walker, litterally a tank with legs. Walkers tend to have a primitive computer installed to facilitate the complex mechanisms that propulse it. The automation also helps reduce the crew size down, which does help with the overall weight ratio. The light walkers tend to consist of a driver and a gunner, who acts as the commander. This is similar to how light tanks operated and is consistant with the miniatures. To those who are familiar with Heavy Gear, this is the reverse of its 63rd century equivalent, the Strider.
As Gear Krieg's main focus is the Second World War, many famous (and some infamous) people inhabit the setting. Links to Wikipedia will be provided for your perusal, and to see how their lives differed thanks to super-science gone amok.
Note: The data here is speculative, and is based upon conversions of in-game statistics. Some statistics were easier to convert than others, so there might be some lee-way.
